Homemade Copycat Shamrock Shake (Printable)

A smooth, minty shake blending vanilla ice cream, peppermint, and green color for a cool delight.

# What goes in:

→ Ice Cream Base

01 - 2 cups vanilla ice cream, preferably full-fat

→ Dairy

02 - 1 cup whole milk, or 2% for lighter consistency

→ Flavorings

03 - 1/2 teaspoon pure peppermint extract
04 - 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Color

05 - 4-6 drops green food coloring

→ Optional Toppings

06 - Whipped cream
07 - Maraschino cherries
08 - Green sprinkles

# Directions:

01 - Place vanilla ice cream, whole milk, peppermint extract, vanilla extract, and green food coloring into blender canister.
02 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, approximately 30-60 seconds. Add additional milk tablespoon by tablespoon if thinner consistency is preferred.
03 - Taste mixture and add more peppermint extract or food coloring as desired. Peppermint extract is potent, so add in 1/8 teaspoon increments.
04 - Divide shake evenly between two tall glasses, wiping any drips from rims with damp cloth.
05 - Top each glass with whipped cream, one maraschino cherry, and green sprinkles. Serve immediately while cold.
