# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The real vanilla bean creates those beautiful little flecks that prove you made something special
  • It comes together in literally five minutes with ingredients you probably already have
  • You control exactly how sweet and creamy it gets, no more guessing what's in your drink
02 -
  • Use your blender's tamper tool if it has one, or stop frequently to stir, because thick mixtures can get stuck
  • Serve immediately because ice melts faster than you think, turning your frappuccino into regular vanilla milk
  • The vanilla bean seeds tend to clump together, so whisk them into a tiny bit of milk before adding
03 -
  • If your vanilla bean feels dry and stiff, soften it by placing it in a warm spot for 10 minutes before scraping
  • Any leftover frappuccino can be frozen in ice cube trays and blended again later
  • Save the scraped vanilla bean pod and bury it in a jar of sugar for homemade vanilla sugar
